To Infinity and Beyond

Back from a month-long drawering hiatus. Spent a couple of blissful weeks vacationing in a faraway land, catching up with dear friends, meeting sweet strangers, drinking from bodies of water I shouldn't be drinking from. Petted lots of cows, sketched two tiny pictures with a ballpoint pen, reflected on this awful city I temporarily call home. We go away to see more clearly the things that are close to us.

The most valuable Pacifics we explore will always be the vast expanses within us, and the most important Northwest Crossings the thresholds we cross in the heart.

I Found Emptiness, And Then It Was Gone

Stop the words now.
Open the window in the center of your chest,
and let the spirits fly in and out.
